📋개요

Myself는 서버 없이 내 기기끼리만 메시지를 동기화하는 개인 메시징 앱입니다. 이 방침은 앱이 어떤 정보를 다루는지, 그리고 여러분의 프라이버시를 어떻게 보호하는지를 설명합니다.

          핵심 원칙: 여러분의 데이터는 여러분의 기기에만 존재합니다.
          Myself는 어떠한 중앙 서버도, 클라우드 스토리지도 사용하지 않습니다.
        

📦앱이 저장하는 정보

아래 정보는 앱 기능 제공을 위해 기기 내부에만 저장됩니다. 외부 서버로 전송되지 않습니다.

메시지 및 첨부파일

텍스트 메시지
이미지, 동영상, 파일 첨부
리마인더 날짜·시간
링크 프리뷰 캐시 (URL의 제목·이미지)

앱 설정

테마 설정 (라이트 / 다크 / 시스템)
언어 설정 (한국어 / 영어)
동기화 ID 목록 (사용자가 직접 생성하는 임의 식별자)

🚫수집하지 않는 정보

Myself는 다음 정보를 일절 수집하지 않습니다.

이름, 이메일, 전화번호 등 개인 식별 정보
위치 정보 (GPS 등)
기기 고유 식별자 (광고 ID, IMEI 등)
연락처, 캘린더 등 민감한 기기 정보
사용 통계, 충돌 로그, 분석 데이터
계정 또는 로그인 자격 증명

          Myself에는 광고, 애널리틱스, 제3자 추적 SDK가 포함되어 있지 않습니다.
        

📡P2P 동기화 방식

같은 Wi-Fi 네트워크에 연결된 내 기기들은 mDNS(Zeroconf)로 서로를 발견하고, TCP 직접 연결로 메시지를 동기화합니다.

메시지는 기기 간 직접 전송됩니다. 중간 서버가 없습니다.
동기화 ID가 일치하는 기기끼리만 연결됩니다.
로컬 네트워크 밖으로 데이터가 나가지 않습니다.

🗑️데이터 보관 및 삭제

모든 데이터는 기기의 앱 내부 저장소에 보관됩니다. 앱을 삭제하면 모든 메시지와 파일이 함께 삭제됩니다.

외부 서버에 저장된 데이터가 없으므로, 별도의 계정 삭제 절차가 필요하지 않습니다.

👶아동 개인정보 보호

Myself는 어떠한 개인정보도 수집하지 않으므로, 만 14세 미만 아동이 사용하더라도 개인정보 수집이 발생하지 않습니다.

📝방침 변경

이 방침은 변경될 수 있습니다. 중요한 변경이 있을 경우 앱 업데이트 노트 또는 이 페이지를 통해 안내드립니다. 변경 후 앱을 계속 사용하시면 개정된 방침에 동의한 것으로 간주됩니다.

📋Overview

Myself is a personal messaging app that syncs messages directly between your own devices — no server required. This policy explains what information the app handles and how your privacy is protected.

          Core principle: Your data lives only on your devices.
          Myself uses no central server and no cloud storage.
        

📦Information Stored by the App

The following data is stored on your device only to provide app functionality. It is never sent to external servers.

Messages & Attachments

Text messages
Images, videos, and file attachments
Reminder dates and times
Link preview cache (title and thumbnail for URLs)

App Settings

Theme preference (Light / Dark / System)
Language preference (Korean / English)
Sync ID list (arbitrary identifiers you create yourself)

🚫Information We Do NOT Collect

Myself does not collect any of the following:

Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, etc.)
Location data (GPS or otherwise)
Device identifiers (advertising ID, IMEI, etc.)
Sensitive device data (contacts, calendar, etc.)
Usage analytics, crash logs, or diagnostic data
Account credentials or login information

          Myself contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK,
          and no third-party tracking of any kind.
        

📡How P2P Sync Works

Devices on the same Wi-Fi network discover each other via mDNS (Zeroconf) and sync messages over a direct TCP connection.

Messages are transferred directly between your devices. No middleman.
Only devices sharing the same Sync ID can connect to each other.
No data leaves your local network.

🗑️Data Retention & Deletion

All data is stored in the app's internal storage on your device. Deleting the app removes all messages and files along with it.

Since no data is stored on external servers, there is no account or server-side deletion process required.

👶Children's Privacy

Because Myself collects no personal information whatsoever, use by children under the age of 13 does not result in any collection of personal data.

📝Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. When significant changes are made, we will notify you through app release notes or by updating this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
